Get down to mellow vibes at Highland Park’s most groovy bar.✌️
A new chill spot called Gold Line Bar opened earlier this month just below the record label Stones Throw Records. Stones Throw Records and founder, Peanut Butter Wolf, wanted to spice up the town by inviting Angelenos to sit back and relax while sipping on a variety of three-ingredient cocktail classics, rare whiskey, mezcal, or natural wine.
Bartenders set the mood of the evening by choosing from Wolf’s personal collection which is made up of over 8,000 records! The stash includes tons of limited or out-of-print vinyl which are beautifully showcased on custom wood shelves built around the bar.
During the weekend you can catch a DJ spinning on the ones and twos, selecting exclusively from the in-house pile. If you want to hear something in particular, head over to the timeless Rock-Ola jukebox.
Whether you decide to lounge in a private area in the back under the disco ball or take a seat at the vintage walnut bar, expect the night to be filled with all the hipster feels Highland Park has to offer.
