Since November 1st, participating Carl’s Jr. locations across restaurants in Los Angeles, Orange County, and the Inland Empire, began providing a Kids Hamburger, Small Fry, and Kids Drink for $1 to eligible guests, as KTLA5 reports.
The program aims to support local families and workers during the current federal government shutdown. Franchise owner and CEO Amir Siddiqi said the initiative is a way to offer a simple, affordable meal for the community.
Guests can access the discounted meal by showing a federal government ID, military ID, or SNAP/EBT card. No additional purchase or registration is required, and the offer will continue while supplies last.
