The mesmerizing Christmas In Color holiday display has taken over Raging Waters in San Dimas!
An aerial view of this electrifying lighting display could easily be mistaken for a holiday rave or a themed circus. In fact, that’s sort of what this magical roving Christmas tradition is. It’s an entire course with millions of LED lights in every thinkable color, synchronized to your favorite holiday tunes. This year, San Dimas in California. Raging Waters will be transformed into an illuminated winter wonderland. But don’t worry, there’ll be no water activities happening at the same time. Instead, it will be drained and pumped with all the seasonal cheer you need to feel like a kid again.
Guests will be sent weaving through endless light tunnels in dazzling color spectrums, with giant snowmen and candy canes floating by. It’s one of the largest light displays happening, even SUVs will seem microscopic in this larger-than-life maze. You’ll have a glowing Christmas forest, arches with snowflakes, snowmen and other twinkling installations on every corner.
The event has always been a drive-thru so there’s no need to adapt the format this year, they’ll just be doing what they do best with a number of extra health and safety protocols in place. Along with that, each 30-minute journey comes with a free goodie bag and 3d glasses to bring it all to life. You’ll be able to tune into the jolly beats through FM radio.
Tickets cost $30 per vehicle and can only be purchased online. You’ll get to take in this vivid show will run from December 4 through January 3, with sessions running from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily. It’s closed on Sundays, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. So there’s ample time to get into the merry spirit at this lighting spectacular and make this a memorable season.
Of course, ’tis the season of giving and in honor of that, a portion of all proceeds from this show will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The donation will help bring a bit of joy to Los Angeles children facing critical illnesses.
