CicLAvia is challenging the “nobody walks in L.A.” stereotype by creating an event and space where it’s safe to do so! This Sunday, April 21, 2024, they will commemorate their 51st car-free open streets event from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
For over 10 years, the event has catalyzed beautiful public spaces and promoted wellness via the use of car-free streets. This edition of CicLAvia Venice, which spans from Pacific to National, invites people of all ages and abilities to spend a day in this 4-mile pop-up park using their preferred people-powered activity — be it bicycling, walking, running, roller skating, skating, or just hanging out. CicLAvia participants just turn up anywhere along the route at any time to take advantage of the open streets and to spend some time exploring Venice in a way like never before. The event is always free.
