Join in on a live discussion about the longevity of ‘streetwear’ in the 2020s.
Sure, fashion is comfier than ever before – but will the trend of sweat pants and baggy t-shirts last? According to the artistic director of Louis Vuitton’s menswear, Virgil Abloh… not for long. Join Dash Radio and Fever on January 29 for a live talk inspired by Abloh’s outlook on the future of fashion!
When asked what will happen to streetwear in the 2020s, Virgil Abloh, artistic director of Louis Vuitton’s menswear, said, “I would definitely say it is gonna die, you know? In my mind, how many more T-shirts can we own, how many more hoodies, how many sneakers?” According to Abloh, the next decade will be all about vintage fashion: “There are so many clothes that are cool that are in vintage shops and it’s just about wearing them.”
This special Fever Talks event will bring you an informed panel of guests who are sure to spark innovative and creative dialogue that will continue the conversation beyond the course of the night.
