Descanso Garden’s Mile-Long Trail Of Carved Pumpkins Returns This Fall

And it’s going to be bigger and brighter than ever before!

Descanso Garden’s beloved Carved trail returns for three weeks starting from October 11. Guests will take evening strolls under the stars amongst hundreds of glowing, beautifully hand-carved pumpkins and other oversized sculptures created from natural materials like sticks. This gorgeous mile-long trail, Featuring the popular Pumpkin House and a hay maze, will weave through Camellia Forest and Oak Grove.

After canceling the annual tradition last year due to COVID, this year is set to be bigger and better than previous years. But this isn’t the only fall festivity happening at the gardens this year, the luminous Enchanted Forest of Light is also back with dazzling sights.

New additions like a giant, inflatable pumpkin moon rising over the stately Oaks and pumpkin sea dragons swimming in the pond will be lurking amongst the towering trees. The gates will open for timed visits at 6:30 pm, 7 pm, 7:30 pm, 8 pm, 8:30 pm & 9 pm daily, with food and beverage to celebrate the harvests of the season.

Tickets range from $25 to 28 each for members and $32–35 each for non-members. Member’s pre-sale tickets are already on sale, while non-members will be able to purchase theirs from Friday, October 1 at 10 am (mark your calendars).
