LA’s Longest Running Pop-Up Drive-In Returns To So Cal For Another Magical Season

Secret Los Angeles Secret Los Angeles

Roll into a bygone era with classic films in the heart of Glendale.

L.A.’s beloved Electric Dusk Drive-In has been upholding the legacy of nostalgic al fresco experiences long before the pandemic. This month they’ll be bringing families together with another dazzling series of films under the stars.

The roving pop-up has parked itself in the heart of Glendale with classic movies projected onto a giant screen with Tinseltown twinkling in the background. May’s schedule features family favorites like “Moana” along with action-packed hits like “Jurrasic Park” and “Star Wars: The Last Jedi”.

Of course, you’ll need a car with an FM radio to attend, with gates opening at around 6:15 pm (depending on the screening), so if you get there early, you could snag a front-row “seat.”

Early Bird Single Feature tickets will cost $23 ($15 per car + $8 first person’s ticket), and Double Feature Main Ticket will cost $37 ($25 per car+ $12 first person’s ticket). There’ll also be options to add on exclusive movie posters designed by local artists.

Film Schedule:

  • May 20, 8:15pm: School of Rock
  • May 21, 8:15pm: Star Wars: Last Jedi
  • May 22, 8pm: Sicario
  • May 23, 8:15pm: Moana
  • May 27, 8:15pm: Little Shop of Horrors
  • May 29, 8pm: King Kong
  • May 29, 10:15pm: Jurassic Park
