The incredible views are back!
E.P. & L.P.’s insanely popular rooftop, with sweeping views of the Hollywood Hills and Mid-City, has just reopened after being shuttered since the Safer at Home Order went into place. As the L.P. rooftop is entirely outdoors, it’s the first section of the multistorey dining and drinking haven to open. The dining room is set to open in the next few weeks, but as expected, the Melrose Rooftop Theatre will not be running just yet.
You’ll be able to enjoy the same spectacular views from the expansive deck while sipping on mouthwatering cocktails and nibbling on the all-new snack menu. But, of course, there will be new safety measures in place which you will be expected to follow. They are currently open from 4 pm to 2 am daily and are accepting walk-ins and a few late-night bookings.
The hotspot, located on Melrose and La Cienega in West Hollywood, is also giving all of their first day’s profits to the NAACP—an organization that works towards advancing justice for people of color. Additionally, the company has promised to ensure that their team gets paid time off to vote and support the fight against racial injustice.
Here’s what they said about the matter in a recent post:
“Black Lives Matter. Our business was born from immigrants and has a bedrock of Black, Latin & Asian team members that make up the backbone of hospitality, as we work collectively with a shared purpose as a tightly knit family unit. We also recognize that we could be doing a better job in stamping out injustices that exist in the workplace and our society for the black community. That we could be educating. That we should be adapting the way that we conduct our business to make a positive and lasting impact. Botanical Hospitality stands in solidarity against racism, social injustice, and inequality. We view the recent acts of violence across our nation as a painful reminder of the deep and divisive barriers among and between people.”
