L.A. Zoo Lights is back for another season of eye-popping delights! ✨

There’s no better way to spread holiday cheer than to snap a pic with an actual reindeer! If you’re wondering how to create a memorable holiday experience with the ones you love, don’t miss out on the illuminated magic taking place at L.A. Zoo Lights until January 6. The park is bringing back everything you love in addition to new features, nightly live performances, and a longer route – so don’t forget to dress cozy!

Discover a disco ball-filled forest, a twinkling light tunnel, animated elephants, and giant illuminated snowflakes. There will be plenty to look at during the sparkling hour-long stroll among 500,000+ twinkling LED lights which bring glowing animals “to life.” You’ll even have to chance to interact with glow dancers, stilt-walkers, DJs, as well as live-band karaoke!

Though most of the animals will be sleeping, you can purchase a picture of you striking a pose with Santa and his herd of reindeer! Along the way, enjoy a variety of festive treats like churros, glazed almonds, hot cocoa, and s’mores sundaes! Spiked cocoa, wine, and beer are available every night, and full bars with are available Fridays through Sundays. (Outside food will not be permitted.)

There’s tons of parking available for free, but keep in mind, weekday traffic around the zoo is busiest between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. Guests with 6 p.m. tickets may enter any time after 6 p.m. until 9:15 p.m. and guests with 8 p.m. tickets may enter 8 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. Ticket prices vary depending on value nights ($14.95) and premium nights ($21.95) and are cheaper for children.
