Living in the city makes us feel as though we must constantly be on the go. In fact, we Angelenos have made rushing and sitting in traffic part of our daily routine. Floating wants to change that pattern and normalize being still. They want to encourage Angelenos to incorporate mental wellness into their weekly routine.
This outdoor collective gathers every week to connect with each other through nature and music. They offer two outdoor experiences, Soundscapes and Soundbaths. Their Soundscapes combine beautiful nature and the power of art. It includes live musical experiences from local performers at their favorite nature-filled spots. Their Soundbaths are weekly outdoor meditations that involve vibrational therapy through singing bowls. It is said that these peaceful experiences aid in chronic stress, increase mindfulness, and promote total relaxation.
How To Join This Outdoor Collective
Feels Like Floating meets 3-5 times a week, making it possible to escape any day of the week. There are different membership levels depending on your needs.

They always devote 10% of their capacities for those who cannot pay or wish to donate the day-of. In the event that a membership is out of your range, Feels Like Floating urges those to please email them at info@feelslikefloating.com. In their own words, “No one will be turned away for lack of funds.”
Floating reminds us that it’s okay to take a step back and reflect. This outdoor collective makes it possible to connect with ourselves and others—and it’s accessible to all. With the constant rush of city life, it’s important to prioritize our wellness, inside and out.
