Foo Fighters are returning to Los Angeles for a special benefit concert on Wednesday, January 14th, taking over the Kia Forum for a one-night-only show supporting organizations dedicated to fighting homelessness and food insecurity. All proceeds will benefit groups long championed by Dave and Jordyn Grohl and the band, including Hope the Mission and Los Angeles Mission.
A Ticket Pre-Sale With a Purpose
The only opportunity to access pre-sale tickets is through an in-person donation drive on Sunday, December 7th at the Forum. To participate, fans must bring at least one of the following urgently needed items for Hope the Mission:
- New, packaged socks and underwear (all genders, all ages)
- Bagged dried pinto beans
- Pasta (boxed or bagged)
- Bagged dried rice
- Please note: no canned or perishable goods.
All donations – and all ticket proceeds – will directly support Hope the Mission and Los Angeles Mission as they continue providing food, clothing, shelter, and essential services to unhoused and food-insecure Angelenos.
Community Leaders Celebrate the Band’s Commitment
“Dave, Jordyn, and Foo Fighters are a striking example of what’s possible when we decide to show up and give back,” said Rowan Vansleve, President of Hope the Mission. “This concert is more than a celebration—it’s a statement that ending homelessness requires all of us. Foo Fighters and their fans have a reputation for stepping up when people need it, and this will be no different.”
Dennis Oleesky, CEO of Los Angeles Mission, added: “The impact of this event goes far beyond one night of incredible music. Every ticket and every donation will directly help feed and house our unhoused neighbors. We’re honored the Foo Fighters are joining us to bring real help and real hope across Los Angeles.”
A Birthday Bash With a Heart
The benefit show also happens to fall on Dave Grohl’s birthday, and he’s asking fans to give however they can – whether that’s through donating, volunteering, raising awareness, or supporting frontline organizations year-round.
Grohl shared his own birthday message with fans saying, “What better way to spend my 57th birthday than making a bunch of noise with a bunch of people for a good cause. This ain’t just a big ass rock show, it’s a big ass party with a heart. Turn up the volume, turn up the hope, but most of all… TURN UP. The best gift is TO GIVE. Can’t friggin wait x.”
