There’s A Pokémon-Inspired Pop-Up Bar Heading To Los Angeles

Poké Bar is a nod to the popular 90’s Nintendo game which has recently regained popularity!

From Pokémon GO to the new box office feature Pokémon Detective Pikachu, nostalgic millennials and gen-z gamers alike will soon be able to join forces in the hunt to ‘catch them all!’ The pop-up will present a game component similar to the one played back in the day on the accent gaming counsel otherwise known as a Game Boy. Pokémon enthusiasts will have to hunt, catch, and battle their characters IRL, so make sure you that Charmander and Jigglypuff are prepared! The games will be split into seven regions with two-hour sessions; those who complete all seven will be the ultimate winner.

Division winners will receive an awesome prize, as will the winner for the best-dressed costume! This pop-up Bar is expected to open sometime in the fall and will also include custom themed food like Poké burgers and cocktails (no Pokémon will be harmed for the purpose of these treats), as well as a DJ playing music throughout the sessions! You must be 21 to drink alcohol and anyone under 21 must be accompanied by a parent.

Tickets have not been released yet, but you can sign up for the waitlist here to be among the first to know when tickets are going on sale!
