Time to blow the dust off that forgotten library card of yours!
Sure your handy dandy library card grants you access to a vast collection of free books, magazines, and films – but did you know that it can also get you into some of Southern California’s best museums?
All you have to do is head over to the Discover & Go website (according to your L.A. County Library card or Los Angeles Public Library card), reserve a date, and print them out before heading off to the chosen museum! Yup – it’s that easy. Reservations can be made up to three months in advance, and some establishments will even allow you to reserve up to four tickets! Be sure to plan accordingly, bc you can only have up to two active reservations at a time.
The next time you find yourself bored, ready to learn, and eager to not spend money, just whip out that noble plastic card that’s just waiting to used again! We made a list of the participating museums so that your next adventure is as easy as 1-2-3.
Keep in mind that the city and county cards may offer different selections.
