October storms put on quite the show on Monday.
Following unusually high temperatures in the city, a low-pressure storm system swept across the region bringing rain to Los Angeles and Long Beach. Along with it, came ominous clouds, rumbling thunder and cracks of lightning beaming across the sky. It’s expected to continue through Thursday and possibly Friday before clearing up over the weekend.
While beachgoers were ushered to shelter with beaches closured from San Pedro to Malibu. Meanwhile, football fans had to patiently wait for Mother Nature to run its course for a half-hour before the Chargers and Las Vegas Raiders game could begin.
