All the world’s a stage, and that definitely includes the beloved and iconic Griffith Park. Beyond being the perfect spot for stargazing at the observatory, having a picnic, or simply going for a hike, this summer the park transforms into the epicenter of some of the most important plays by the acclaimed and legendary William Shakespeare.
Presented by the independent theater company, Independent Shakespeare Co., summer evenings in the city through August will become a true A Midsummer Night’s Dream, featuring memorable performances and a welcoming live outdoor crowd.
Between July and August 31st, attendees can enjoy performances of Love’s Labour’s Lost and Doctor Faustus every Wednesday through Sunday at 7 PM. Be sure to visit their website for the full schedule and to reserve your spot, as reservations are required.
Independent Shakespeare Co. is a unique theater company that brings together a diverse community to experience classic and contemporary plays and is committed to inclusivity.
