The pursuit of happiness is something most of us Americans are very familiar with. We know that our environment plays a big role in how happy or unhappy we are. For a lot of us here in Southern California, our beautiful, sunny, easygoing environment is a big reason for us to stay, and with good reason, it turns out. According to a new study by WalletHub, these 20 cities in Southern California are home to some of the happiest people in the United States.
The report by WalletHub examined more than 180 of the largest U.S. cities to determine which is the happiest. They examined each city based on 29 key indicators of happiness. These indicators include the income growth rate, depression rate, and average leisure time each day. They ranked each city in three different categories like Emotional & Physical Well-Being, Income & Employment, and Community & Environment.
