L.A. knows how to throw a party! And the Dodgers earning two back-to-back World Series Championships is certainly a reason to throw down. After a celebratory parade through the streets of Downtown L.A., the 5 tour buses packed with Dodgers players and their loved ones made their way to Dodger Stadium for a well-earned celebration.
A Stadium Full of L.A. Legends
The Dodgers made their grand entrance to the unmistakable beat of Kendrick
Lamar’s “Not Like Us”.The crowd erupted as the anthem of L.A. blared through the stadium, a perfect soundtrack for L.A.’s reigning champions.
Beloved L.A. actor, Anthony Anderson, introduced the Dodgers as they walked into the stadium.
And just when everyone thought it couldn’t get more L.A., Ice Cube rolled out in a slick Dodger-blue convertible to deliver the team’s second straight World Series trophy to a sea of screaming fans. It should come as no surprise since Ice Cube celebrated at last year’s World Series rally as well. And in his celebration speech, he loudly proclaimed that L.A. would do it all again next year!
A Third Championship?
Ice Cube wasn’t the only one at the mic hyping a third consecutive win. There was a lot of talk about bringing home a third World Series Championship title next year from both players and management. As Mookie Betts said, “A repeat ain’t never sounded so sweet!”
