Ice Cube and Mike Epps are reuniting for a new hip-hop/comedy show headed to Long Beach this summer!
In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the hit 90s comedy film Friday, star Ice Cube will bring along castmate and comedian Mike Epps for The Everyday’s Friday: Lyrics, Lougin’ and Laughing show to the Long Beach Amphitheater on Friday, July 17, 2026.
According to a press release, it’s a one-night-only fusion show of laughs, music, and good vibes.
“Friday has always been about and for the fans who made it a classic and kept it alive for nearly 30 years,” said Ice Cube. “To be able to step back out there with Mike Epps and bring that energy to the stage for a one-night-only experience in Long Beach is special. This show represents the beginning of the next chapter.”
The film is originally set in South Central Los Angeles and follows two unemployed friends as their Friday gets overrun with shenanigans and colorful characters from their neighborhood. Ice Cube is born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Friday originally came out in 1995.
Epps added, “Every day for the last 30 years, someone has told me how much they loved the Friday franchise and how much the characters mean to them. To reunite with Cube and bring this one night only experience to the fans is incredible.”
