Summer may be winding down, but there are still a few weeks left to make the most of L.A.’s warm evenings. And what better way to do it than with a night market? This September, Inglewood will host its first-ever night market at Hollywood Park, an evening celebrating the neighborhood’s creative community, with art, music, food, and local vendors coming together after dark!
What to expect at the Inglewood Night Market
The Inglewood Night Market will take place on Saturday, September 19, from 5 to 10 p.m. at Hollywood Park (1011 Stadium Drive).
Throughout the evening, visitors can browse an outdoor gallery featuring artists from Inglewood and surrounding communities, along with artist-designed booths and vendors showcasing local creative work, products, and food. The gallery and installations will be curated by Rick Garzon, with the event designed to encourage visitors to connect with and support local artists, artisans, and small businesses.
The event is free and open to all ages, so families can also head to the kids zone, which will feature a mini rave, games, art workshops, and other activities for younger visitors.
Music will be another major part of the evening. A sound stage at Century Plaza will host live performances by Kenneth Brown II, Los del ING, Innovadora Jey, and Nu.Beings, followed by a DJ set presented by Outake Collective.
A massive urban destination in Inglewood
Spanning nearly 300 acres, Hollywood Park has transformed the former Hollywood Park Racetrack site into a sprawling sports, entertainment, and mixed-use destination. The development combines parks with residences, restaurants, retail, offices, and entertainment venues, all centered around SoFi Stadium and the adjacent YouTube Theater.
The property also features more than 25 acres of open space, including Lake Park, a 12-acre green space built around a six-acre lake. Walkable paths, landscaped areas, and public plazas connect different parts of the development, creating plenty of space to wander and spend time outdoors.
