SoCal’s nightlife is about to have a pulse again.
If you’ve been waiting for something to fill the stadium-sized hole in your life, then the wait is over…well, almost. The creators of Electric Daisy Carnival–the largest electronic dance music festival in North America–are bringing an electrifying drive-thru event to Santa Anita Park in Arcadia on January 1, 2021, with their signature high-octane festival energy! Expect a kaleidoscopic holiday experience that will have the whole family completely mesmerized.
The hour-long journey at Insomniac’s Electric Mile will boast 500 glowing art installations, five million lights, lasers, a warehouse rave, and smoke machines, all with the production-grade of North America’s most popular mega-festivals. With lights synchronized to music curated by Insomniac’s Founder and CEO, Pasquale Rotella, attendees will ride through 180,000 feet of illuminations. There’ll be seven magical worlds reflecting the most iconic Insomniac festivals, including EDC, Beyond Wonderland, Nocturnal Wonderland, Escape & Countdown.
There’s no doubt that the drive-thru scene has taken impressive strides this year, but, admittedly, all the twinkling holiday lights and jingles don’t exactly get our pulses racing. The touch of the Southern California-based Insomniac, responsible for some of the most mind-blowing live events in the world, ensures that Electric Mile will be an epic audiovisual feat that will take the drive-in experience up a gear.
