The Obscure is a collision of creativity, curiosity, and other crafts that will only be offered to a few lucky guests at a time. Those on the list will scan an insignia to unlock the doors and wander through a dark corridor that opens into a magical space with a glow of flickering candlelight. Reeds cascading from the ceilings, glowing waterfalls, and crystals evoke scenes of the bayou where stories whisper through the cypress trees and magic runs wild.
You’ll take your seat at the thick, wooden table with your personalized invitation and browse the menu of boozy elixirs that will transport you to another realm. Mixologists will demonstrate their wizardry by serving you experimental cocktails that infuse forest herbs, plants and flavors to enhance the top-shelf spirits. Or, you can also choose to have a mini cocktail flight where your whisky or gin tasting is paired with delectable bites. It’s the only speakeasy in L.A. owned by a distillery, so you’re guaranteed top-grade spirits that are creative and crafted no matter what you choose.
As you sip on potent concoctions, your host will tell you captivating tales that plunge you further into the mystique of the experience.
