Classic L.A. Diner Norms Is Celebrating Its 70th Birthday With 70-Cent Breakfasts

By Malia Wooten

Breakfast for under a dollar hasn’t been the Norm for decades!

L.A. diners are a foodie’s version of a time machine – nothing beats the classics. Iconic eatery Norms gets it, considering it’s been around to see trends come and go since 1949! One of those passing trends? A full-hearty breakfast that doesn’t break the bank…

To celebrate being around for the past seven decades, the diner legend is offering Angelenos a plate of hotcakes, two eggs (any style) and either bacon or sausage for only 70-cents! Yup – you read that correctly. You can snag yourself a full-on breakfast for less money than it’d cost you to pay for street parking on Wednesday, October 23rd between 6a – 9a.

If you can’t wait until the 23rd to get into your retro feels, you can enter the chain’s giveaway which ends on Monday, September 30 – all you have to do is head over to their Instagram page, tag a friend, and guess how many cups of coffee Norms has poured since opening its first location on Sunset and Vine back in 1949! The lucky winner will be awarded a $100 gift card.

The 70-cent promotion will be available at all 19 locations across the city, branching from Huntington Beach all the way to Van Nuys!
