Summer in L.A. is packed with experiences that turn warm nights into something memorable, from open-air concerts to outdoor movie screenings that bring people together under the same sunset sky. And as Pride Month continues, the calendar fills with events that celebrate community, self-expression, and the simple joy of being outside in good company.
One standout event this month is the PRIDE Sunset Swim, an adults-only evening designed for the LGBTQIA+ community and allies at the historic Annenberg Beach House pool. Guests are invited to enjoy a relaxed night swim in the heated pool, set to music and surrounded by pool floaties, along with complimentary s’mores while supplies last.
Pool passes are available online in advance or at the door on June 26, depending on availability, and a waitlist will open if the pool reaches capacity. Arrive early for Pride Happy Hour at Back on the Beach Café from 5 PM to 7 PM before the swim kicks off!
About the Annenberg Community Beach House pool

The Annenberg Community Beach House sits on a five-acre stretch of Santa Monica coastline and dates back to the 1920s, when William Randolph Hearst built an oceanside estate for actress Marion Davies, where Hollywood’s elite once gathered.
The original saltwater pool served as the centerpiece of the estate. Today, the 110-by-22-foot pool operates as a freshwater, heated facility open to the public. It ranges from 4 to 8 feet deep, with water typically kept around 78–82°F.
It also retains its Italian marble edging and decorative tilework, preserving the elegance of its original 1920s design.
