There’s no shortage of art to explore in Los Angeles right now. Between pop-ups, immersive installations, brand-new murals, and soon-to-open museums, the city feels like one giant creative playground.
One of the biggest highlights of the season is the return of The Other Art Fair to the L.A. Art Week, celebrating its 15th local edition. This year marks its largest showing yet, with 160 independent artists, in a new and larger venue in Culver City.
This edition is also charged with meaning, as the fair is honoring the first anniversary of the Eaton Fire by partnering with Altadena Brick by Brick, a local nonprofit rebuilding homes west of Lake Avenue.

Through a collaboration called The Art of Ping Pong: Play it Forward, visitors can play on custom, artist-designed ping pong tables that double as sculptural works. Donations raised through gameplay go directly toward rebuilding efforts.
The fair has also named Los Angeles–based artist Marie-José as the Winter 2026 New Futures award recipient. Their Afro-Surrealistic work explores identity through painting, collage, stained glass, and textiles.

Beyond the booths, expect immersive moments like Thank You by Linus Gruszewski, a walk-through installation made from 1,500 repurposed take-out bags. There’s also The Goodbye Line, an interactive voicemail booth, and The Faux-To Booth, where artists create hand-drawn portraits in real time.
