To kick off the new NBA season, The Grueling Truth sports network decided to check in with basketball fans across the country with its 2025 NBA Fan Faith Study. Nearly half of fans say they’re feeling nervous about how their favorite NBA team will perform. And even though the Finals are still several months away, more than half already think that their team won’t make it that far this season. But LA Clippers fans are on another level!
LA Clippers Fans
Clippers fans are feeling surprisingly relaxed heading into the new season. According to the 2025 NBA Fan Faith Study, only 25% of fans admitted to feeling nervous about how their team will perform. This was the lowest level of worry among all NBA fan bases surveyed.
Maybe it’s the SoCal sunshine, or maybe it’s a quiet confidence that this could finally be their year. Either way, the vibes are good in Clipper Nation. Even better, a solid 63% of fans believe the team has what it takes to reach the Finals. That mix of calm and confidence suggests that Clippers fans aren’t just hoping for success. They’re expecting it.
What methodology did they use?
This past October, they surveyed 2,000 basketball lovers nationwide to find out just how confident everyone’s feeling. Fans were asked which team they ride for, whether they’re already stressing about the season, and if they truly believe their squad’s headed to the Finals. Of those who participated, 62% were men, 37% were women, and 1% identified as non-binary. And the average fan clocked in at 41 years old.
