Memorial Day Weekend has long served as the unofficial kickoff to summer, a time when people look to escape the weekly routine, head outdoors, and gather under the sun. For those living in or visiting SoCal, this is the perfect celebration for vibes only!
The Topanga Days Festival is returning once again, transforming the scenic hills into the ultimate bohemian holiday getaway. Running from Saturday, May 23, through Monday, May 25, 2026, this highly anticipated three-day celebration blends incredible live performances with vibrant community energy.
Held daily from 10 AM to 7 PM at the Topanga Community Center, it provides an all-ages, family-friendly space designed to celebrate peace and creativity.
51 Years of Canyon magic, music, and celebration
2026 marks the 51st edition of Topanga Days, which also serves as the primary annual fundraiser for the non-profit Topanga Community Center. What began decades ago as a modest neighborhood gathering has evolved into a beloved tradition, drawing thousands of canyon locals and curious visitors alike.
Often described as a mini-Woodstock, the event features a packed entertainment lineup across multiple stages, showcasing over 30 diverse bands ranging from classic rock to reggae. Beyond the main stage performances, attendees can explore a massive marketplace with over 50 merchant vendors selling local art, handcrafted jewelry, clothing, and unique treats.
There is also no shortage of entertainment for children, including classic field games like three-legged races, musical chairs, an egg toss, a pie-eating contest, and tug-o-war.
The ultimate highlight of the weekend occurs on Monday morning from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM: the famous Topanga Days Memorial Day Parade. Rerouting traffic along Topanga Canyon Boulevard, this eccentric procession features everything from vintage cars and horse carts to stilts and unicycles.
Following the parade, a midday flag-raising ceremony honors military members, who receive free admission on Monday.
