
Los Angeles is coming together to support families impacted by this month’s devastating wildfires. On Friday, January 17, twelve professional L.A. sports teams from the city are hosting a major wildfire event to provide critical resources to evacuees at some stadiums.
This collaborative effort aims to bring relief to thousands of Angelenos as they begin the long process of rebuilding their lives.
What is the L.A. stadiums wildfire relief event about?
The event, spearheaded by teams like the Rams, Lakers, Dodgers, Clippers, and more, in partnership with the Fanatics Foundation, will distribute over $3 million worth of merchandise and essential items to wildfire evacuees. These include apparel, sneakers, school supplies, and hygiene kits.
This is another major wildfire relief effort by Los Angeles sports teams in partnership with Fanatics, as the “L.A. Strong” campaign sold over 30,000 shirts in less than a week.
Who can participate?
This event is exclusively for residents of evacuation zones. Evacuees must provide proof of residency in the evacuated zip codes to participate. Pre-registered attendees from American Red Cross shelters will have early access, with others welcome to arrive during the main distribution period from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The event is expected to be a lifeline for affected families, taking place across three iconic venues, Dodger Stadium, SoFi Stadium, and BMO Stadium.
