West Hollywood is about to bring a whole new meaning to roof top chillin’.
Last December we reported that WeHo signed off on a series of cannabis consumption lounges and restaurants in 2019, and in what seems like a blink of an eye, a 420-friendly restaurant and lounge has announced its hopes to open this summer!
The popular marijuana brand Lowell Herb Co. is in the works of opening Lowell Farms: A Cannabis Cafe, having just signed a lease in a hushed location somewhere in West Hollywood. The renderings depict a beautiful L.A. rooftop with communal tables, expansive views, and hip decor which seems to have the intention of setting off very ‘laxed vibe.
State laws prohibit the consumption of cannabis and alcohol on the same premises so instead, guests can enjoy “specialty” teas, fresh juices, coffees, and smoothies! When it comes to the kitchen, veteran cannabis chef Andrea Drummer plans to whip up fresh and seasonal dishes using Lowell’s naturally grown cannabis. Drummer’s dishes will concentrate on servings that contain THC (the compound which makes you high), CBD (a component which makes you feel relaxed and reduces pain), or sometimes both!
As of right now, the rooftop restaurant hasn’t begun construction, but the pictures are enough to get us hyped!
