Halloween in Los Angeles isn’t just a season but a whole unique experience… And all because of the many haunted places and haunted houses around, infused with super realistic settings and actors bringing the Hollywood horror magic to life.
But for sure, one of the best places to dive into that spooky spirit is this attraction, located just a short drive from DTLA, and frequently considered one of the scariest in the U.S. At least, that’s how the travel outlet Matador Network considers it.
Stepping into the creepy world of Midnight Falls
The Los Angeles Haunted Hayride takes place in Griffith Park, near the historic Old Zoo. The event is set in the fictional town of Midnight Falls, a place where Halloween never ends. The grounds are transformed into a haunted village featuring various attractions, including the Scary-Go-Round and psychic readings.
But the main attraction for sure is the haunted hayride (of course), which takes you on a spine-chilling journey through the woods. In addition to the hayride, there are several other experiences this season, including Elvira’s Trick or Treat Mayhem maze, and the Midnight Falls Cider Company.
Visiting the Los Angeles Haunted Hayride
Tickets start around $40 for the hayride, with many other ticket options and VIP and season passes offering extra perks like unlimited access and shorter lines. The event runs daily until November 2nd. Tickets are selling out fast, so check the schedule before you go.
Once you snag your tickets, make sure to dress comfortably, wear closed-toe shoes, and get ready for a night full of scares, laughs, and unforgettable Halloween horror fun…
