Frontline workers are getting a free “Thank You Meal” every day from McDonald’s, and we’re lovin’ it!
Cities have been clapping, buildings have been lighting up and now, the golden arches will stand as a new beacon of appreciation. For the next two weeks, McDonald’s will be giving a free “Thank You meal” to every person working on the front lines.
Starting on Wednesday, all health care workers, police officers, firefighters and emergency medical workers will be eligible for a box of happiness from their nearest McDonald’s drive-thru, carry-out and McDelivery until May 5. Although, this order will need to go through the restaurant itself.
No extra items will need to be purchased along with it either. All that’s needed is some form of identification.
One meal per person is available every day per person with a choice of meals available.
The meal options:
Breakfast: An Egg McMuffin, Chicken McGriddles or Bacon, Egg and Cheese Biscuit, hash browns and a beverage of any size.
Lunch and dinner: A Double Cheeseburger, six-piece Chicken McNuggets or Filet-O-Fish, small fries and a beverage of any size.
Every meal will also feature a sweet note that thanking our heroes for their efforts during the pandemic.
McDonald’s has implemented 50 new safety measures to protect employees from coronavirus.
