Burger fans, are you ready for a brand new spot in Los Angeles?
On April 2, 2026, Mom’s List is bringing grass-fed burgers, hand-cut fries, and milkshakes to Culver City. Founder Ziad “Zee” Batal is opening the space alongside Michelin-recognized Chef Scott Howard.
According to a press release, the recipes are inspired by Batal’s childhood flavors.
“Mom’s List was inspired by my mother’s handwritten grocery lists, her commitment to choosing better ingredients, and the weekly burger nights we always looked forward to,” said Batal in a statement. “She was intentional about what she brought into our home, and that mindset shaped this concept. We want guests to understand exactly what they are eating and feel confident in the sourcing behind every item on the menu.”
What’s on the menu?
The menu will include 100% organic, grass-fed, and grass-finished beef burgers, hand-cut potatoes, house-made sauces, and milkshakes crafted from pure milk and ice cream.
Signature items:
- The OG, house sauce, and caramelized onions
- The Golden Rule, a breakfast-style burger topped with two eggs and cheddar
- Hand-cut fries
- Sweet potato chips seasoned simply with sea salt
- Shakes made with the same high-quality dairy
Burgers begin at $9.95, sides range from $4.95 to $5.95, and shakes are priced at $7.95.
Guests can also buy the kitchen’s ingredients at Mom’s Market inside the location, which will include Eel River Organic Beef, Straus Family Creamery, and Häsi Bread.
“Mom’s List publicly lists all suppliers, vendors, farmers, and ranchers so guests know exactly what they are eating,” reads the press release. “Batal plans to change the fast casual landscape by being completely transparent about his restaurant. “
