Chicago’s most iconic sandwich, the Italian beef, is heading to Los Angeles for a limited-time-only weekend pop-up event. For two days only, Angelenos can enjoy a taste of Chicago in L.A., featuring the Italian beef sandwich straight from Chicago’s legendary Mr. Beef, the old-school spot that inspired The Bear’s “Original Beef of Chicagoland.”
From 11:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturday, July 19 and Sunday, July 20, 2025, foodies can taste the true flavors of Chicago without ever stepping foot in LAX. “HexClad Serves Up: Mr. Beef At Uncle Paulie’s Deli” is definitely the most delicious weekend of the summer.
The Full Pop-Up Menu
Zesty Italian beef sandwiches stuffed with tangy giardiniera aren’t the only thing they’re serving up at Mr. Beef At Uncle Paulie’s Deli. The Bear’s Culinary Director and Chicago native, Courtney Storer, will be serving her Coco’s to Go-Go Homemade Italian Ice. Attendees will also be treated to:
- a complimentary pickle cart courtesy of HexClad
- limited-edition merch
- a few surprise moments (It’s a secret for now!)

This iconic Chicago spot inspired the fictional sandwich shop in The Bear starring Jeremy Allen White. Now, for the second time, this special limited-time pop-up in L.A. brings a taste of that Windy City classic to the West Coast.
