Summoning all coffee lovers with a thirst for metal and mysticism.
Why should Halloween be celebrated once a year, when you can introduce the dark rituals into your daily grind every day of the year? Well, at least that seems to be the idea behind Mystix Kafe. The new coffee pop-up that looks a bit like a wooden lemonade stand but with a touch of darkness—it’s draped in cobwebs with a few hanging bats and a witch on a broomstick as their logo. The concoctions are all lovingly crafted by self-proclaimed El Cafetero Satanico, Julian Filth, a barista by day and a Metal musician by night.
A popular twisted drink of choice is the White Magic which is “Whore-chata shaken with a side of sin!” If you like your coffee black then the Black Magic or the Rebirth Shot takes the art of dark coffees to a whole new level.
Coffee not your thing? You can still get your fix of alchemy with 4 different smoothie options like the Green Witch smoothie or their Thy Goodness smoothie mixed with coconut milk, pineapples, strawberries and blueberries. There’s also the Ole Ancient One, a classic strawberry and banana fruit smoothie to sweeten things up. And vegans won’t want to miss out on the Mystic Forest smoothie.
If you want to visit a unique shop that is a break from the norm where baristas cast spells on coffee beans with a sprinkling of chaos from hell, Mystix Kafe is the perfect blend of all things wicked.
