Carbs all day, every day… especially when they’re Italian!
If you enjoyed scarfing down bowls of pho back when the space was occupied by the trendy Vietnamese restaurant Blossom, you won’t be disappointed to find out that you can still get your noodz fix at the all-new Asso Pasta Bar & Wine.
The moment you step inside you’re immediately served a small slice of Italy – the brick covered walls and hanging chandeliers transform this Silverlake eatery into a delightful little safe haven for pasta and wine lovers alike. It comes as no surprise that the menu is as authentically Italian as the restaurant’s ambiance, offering a selection of bruschetta as well as delectable dishes like the classic tonnarelli alla carbonara and tagliatelle al ragù bolognese.
If you want to go the extra mile during your Italian affair – don’t forget to ask your server which wine pairs best with your meal. And it’s worth suggesting to top it all off with a tasty dessert like the tiramisù or affogato al caffé, a gelato “drowned” in hot espresso. Once you’ve finished your feast, head downstairs to Asso’s hidden bottom floor where wine and Italian beers are served by the plenty.
Whether we’re the mood for an afternoon getaway filled with fresh sangria or a romantic dinner date with il tuo amore, Asso Pasta Bar & Wine is the ace of spades in our deck.
