If you’re looking to visit the twin theme parks anytime soon, don’t expect to grab a ticket under $100!
The price of tickets, annual passes, and even parking went up at Disneyland Resort this past Sunday increasing as much as 25 percent. The park’s latest 14-acre addition, “Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge,” is on track to open this summer which could explain the hike in pricing just one year short of Disney’s last increase in February of 2018.
The cheapest daily ticket is now $105.
Disneyland has been trying to prevent and control overcrowding by experimenting with “flex pricing” – charging different rates based on the anticipated demand for a certain day of the week.
A few of the previous standard prices increased from:
- One-day value ticket: $97 to $104
- One-day regular ticket: $117 to $129
- One-day peak ticket: $135 to $149
- So-Cal Select Annual Pass: $369 to $399
- Deluxe Annual Pass: $729 to $799
- Signature Plus Passport: $1,579 to $1,949
- Parking: $20 to $25

By the looks of it, the hike in ticket prices won’t prevent many superfans from continuing to visit the parks – especially with all the upcoming and recent park additions like the secret terrace cocktail lounge in Carthay Circle, a Star Wars bar called Oga’s Cantina, and brand new exotic marketplace-styled restaurant, The Tropical Hideaway.
