A major addition to Orange County’s live music scene is on the way. The OCVIBE Concert Hall, a modern venue for 5,000 people in central Anaheim, is expected to open in March 2027.
The hall anchors the $5 billion OCVIBE entertainment district around Honda Center. The 100-acre site will also include a large urban park, a food hall with 21 kitchens, and more.

A look inside the new hall
The 5,000-capacity venue is designed by global architecture firm Populous, famous for designing the Sphere in Las Vegas and Yankee Stadium.
The new hall will work alongside the 18,000-seat Honda Center and the planned 300-capacity Golden Bear, due in 2029. Together, the venues will host everything from up-and-coming artists to large awards shows.
Backstage, the concert hall features private bungalow-style artist suites and a courtyard. For fans, the three-tiered seating bowl is designed for good sightlines throughout, and a high-end sound system completes the experience.

The wider OCVIBE district
The concert hall is only one part of a larger project reshaping the Honda Center area. OCVIBE is a transit-friendly, 100-acre public gathering place with a budget of $5 billion.
According to a September press release, the OCVIBE concert hall will open in March 2027, followed by the state-of-the-art Katella Commons food hall, which features 21 kitchens and 6 bars and lounges. 2027 will also see the opening of a landscaped Urban Par with 3 miles of walking trails, and an outdoor public art gallery.
When the district is finished, currently expected in 2033, it will have 20 new acres of open space, over 2,000 homes, two hotels, and more than 35 dining options.
