For one day only this June, Papa Johns is turning its Melrose location into a real-life Pizza Planet to celebrate the release of Toy Story 5!
The Papa Johns Pizza Planet pop-up will take place on Friday, June 12th, 2026, from 12 pm to 7 pm., at 8180 Melrose Ave. You’ll need a timed reservation to get in, and tickets are free but limited.

The 18+ experience celebrates the theatrical release of Toy Story 5 on June 19th, recreating the original Pizza Planet from the 1995 film. It’s one of just four similar experiences happening around the world in London, Seoul, and Madrid.
Fans who manage to snag a timed ticket can expect exclusive merch, claw machine gifts from adidas and Belkin, and Papa Johns’ limited Toy Story 5 pizzas. The restaurant will be transformed into a retro-style pizza arcade with throwback games and Toy Story easter eggs.
If you can’t make it to the pop-up, fans can still enjoy the Toy Story 5 menu now through July 19th in restaurants around the world, featuring flavors like “Space Ranger Roni” with double pepperoni, “Sheriff’s Roundup” with BBQ sauce and grilled chicken, and “Reach for the Pie” with Italian sausage and banana peppers.
