“Chili Dogs For Charity” starts Friday, November 8.
To celebrate eight decades of delicious hot dogs, the popular fast-food stand is selling their famed chili dogs for only 80-cents for the next week!
The eatery is teaming up with local celebrities to help with an awesome cause; Mayor Eric Garcetti and LA Philharmonic Music & Artistic Director Gustavo Dudamel are kicking off the festivities on November 8 at 8p! The duo will assist in slinging discounted wieners for 80-minutes straight – the charity event will continue for a total of eight nights, ending on Friday, November 15.
The jam-packed lineup includes KABC entertainment reporter George Pennacchio (November 9), Youtube personality Jojo Siwa (November 10), comedian George Lopez (November 11), Dodgers star Justin Turner (November 12), five players from LAFC (November 13), Councilmembers Paul Koretz, Mitch O’Farrell and David Ryu (November 14) and the Pasadena Rose Parade Queen and her royal court (November 15). All the proceeds made from the dog sales each night will be donated to a charity chosen by the hosted celebrity.
You heard it here Los Angeles, now go and get those cheesy franks and help support a, or a number of, great cause(s)! If you happen to have a major appetite, you may want to keep in mind that customers are limited to only eight hot dogs per person.
