DTLA is getting its own roller rink and dance floor paired with an exclusive craft beer garden by the Black/woman/veteran-owned Crowns & Hops Brewing Co. Guests can enjoy a full weekend of skating, grooving, and boozing under the L.A. skies from July 15th to the 17th. And it’s all for an amazing cause!

You’ll get to skate through the decades with themed throwback nights, featuring a curation of DJs by the Beat Junkie Institute of Sound. If you’re not a fan of hobbling on eight wheels, you can enter the beer garden and dazzling dance floor free of charge.
Each $12 ticket gets you a 50-minute session, with free skate rental included. Once you’re done, head to the beer garden, starting at 4 p.m., to sip on the limited edition BPLB hazy IPA or Mama’s Keys key lime gose.
On Friday evening, slip into your neon headbands and sparkling leopard print for a journey back to the ‘80s and ‘90s. Saturday will awaken your night fever with music that will transport you to a disco nightclub. Then, the weekend comes to a close with a celebration of the 2000s, the decade that gifted us with low-rise jeans and side-kick phones.
The best part of it all is that your roller revelry benefits the Social Justice Learning Institute, the Los Angeles LGBT Center, and the Downtown Women’s Center.
