Old Town Newhall’s beloved SENSES Block Party is closing out its 2026 season with a lively Oktoberfest-themed celebration tonight, Thursday, September 17, from 7 to 10 p.m.
The free community event takes over Main Street, transforming Santa Clarita’s arts and entertainment district into a festive outdoor party full of games, food trucks, music, drinks, and family-friendly activities.
Whether you stop by to shop local, grab dinner, bid in the silent auction, or simply spend an evening downtown, organizers say every bit of support helps Old Town Newhall recover from the three-alarm fire that destroyed businesses on August 24.
An Oktoberfest street party with giant games and classic cars
SENSES Block Party has hosted a different theme on the third Thursday of each month from April through September, with past 2026 events ranging from Christmas in July to a throwback Time Machine party.
For the season finale, expect a compelling Oktoberfest twist. Guests can test their strength in a stein-holding competition, race friends in barrel-racing challenges, make pretzel necklaces, and tackle carnival-style games such as Jacobs Ladder. An inflatable zip line adds another dose of adrenaline, while classic Volkswagen cars will be on display along the street.
Guests can visit the on-street bar and food trucks lining Main Street, while enjoying live entertainment and browsing local vendors.
