Santa Clarita’s Old Town Newhall is a vibrant arts and entertainment hub, with weekly farmers markets, live music, and family-friendly events filling its calendar.
From April through September, the district also hosts its SENSES Block Party on the third Thursday of each month, each time centered around a new theme. The celebration transforms Main Street into a lively gathering with music, food trucks, local artisans, and an outdoor bar operated by rotating teams from neighborhood restaurants and bars.
The next event is this Thursday, August 20, from 7 to 10 pm, featuring the theme, “Time Machine.” Zoom back through the decades with creative activities including a Gladiator Battle Arena, Time Warp Laser Tag, and a Jurassic Shooting Zone. The 805 Social Club will be on site playing throwback tunes, and you can even make your own time capsule to take home with you.
The SENSES Block party has had a good run this year, but this Thursday marks its second-to-last event of 2026. If you can’t make it this week, save the date for the next and final party on September 17, a lively Oktoberfest celebration featuring stein-holding contests, barrel rolling, and German bites and beers.
