Old Town Newhall is the ultimate arts and entertainment district in the heart of Santa Clarita, hosting everything from farmers’ markets to live music every single week.
But the neighborhood truly comes to life every month at the SENSES Block Party, which takes place on the third Thursday of every month between April and September. Luckily for us, the next event is this week on May 21st, featuring a spirited Medieval theme!
The block party takes over Main Street with creative themes, great music, food trucks, and artisans. Guests can get drinks from the popular on-street bar, which is helmed by teams from different local bars and restaurants throughout the season.
2026 SENSES Block Party themes
Each SENSES Block Party goes all-out for a specific themed celebration. Here’s the theme lineup for the rest of 2026:
- May 21 – Medieval Quest: A Renaissance-faire-inspired block party with roaming bards and minstrels, archery, dueling, and royal food and drink.
- June 18 – Honey, I Shrunk SENSES: Step into an immersive environment with larger-than-life props, including a giant obstacle course.
- July 16 – Christmas in July: Lean into a festive Christmas party with holiday-themed drinks and decor.
- August 20 – Time Machine: Explore era-themed games and activities, from Jurassic adventures to ’90s shenanigans.
- September 17 – Oktoberfest: A full-blown Oktoberfest celebration with stein-holding contests, barrel rolling, and German bites and beers.
