The Summer Soulstice Festival returns to Santa Monica’s Main Street this Saturday with a special nod to the 100th anniversary of historic Route 66!
From 12 to 7 p.m., traffic will be completely shut down between Strand Street and Pier Avenue, creating a pedestrian corridor just a few blocks from the beach. The free event is open to all ages, stretching five blocks between Strand Street and Pier Avenue.
What’s more, you can carry your drink with you along Main Street as part of the new Entertainment Zone.
Things to do at the 2026 Summer Soulstice Festival
Live music will play across two stages all day long. On the Strand Stage, expect sets from Noble Creatures, This Whole Time and Black Sage Burn, while the Pier Stage hosts Brig Band, Westside Crew and Tom Petty tribute favorite Petty Theft to close out the night.
Organizers are leaning to road-trip nostalgia in honor of the Route 66 centennial. The Roadhouse Beer Garden will be pouring a selection of local wines and beers, including Santa Monica Brew Works’ new End of the Trail Pale Ale.
Festivalgoers will also find classic Volkswagen displays, local food and drink, and sidewalk activations from Main Street’s mix of restaurants, bars, boutiques and fitness studios.
Families can spend time at the Pacific Park-sponsored Kids’ Zone from 12 to 5 for face painting, soccer, and storytelling. Other pop-ups include a pet zone with a photo booth, the SUPERGIRL Intergalactic Rest Stop Tour, and a pickleball pop-up courtesy of VOLO Sports.
