Shaquille O’Neal Just Opened A Mouthwatering Comfort Food Restaurant In DTLA

He already delivered three NBA championships to the city, now he’s on track to delivering comfort food!

If the food is on the same level as the Hall of Famer’s former basketball career, then we’re totally here for it! The brand new restaurant sits in the middle of L.A. Live right next to the Staples Center. Shaquille’s written in a flashy purple perched above massive doors big enough for The Big Diesel to walk through make this spot pretty hard to miss.

The menu focuses on farm fresh produce epitomizes Southern Hospitality with a modern flair, offering dishes like fried green tomatoes, shrimp and grits, and mac and cheese. There’s even an entree named after the sports anchor called the Shaq burger with American cheese, red onion, house-made pickles, and Shaq sauce!
