With the resources of an active Hollywood studio lot at its disposal, Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights is considered one of the world’s most immersive and terrifying Halloween attractions.
They’ve taken it up a notch by once again collaborating with Grammy-winning guitarist Slash on the 2025 “Scarecrow’ haunted house soundtrack.
From Slash’s musical score to the new lineup of haunted mazes and relentless scare zones, here’s what to expect for Halloween Horror Nights 2025, which runs from Sept. 4 – Nov. 2, 2025.

Slash x Halloween Horror Nights
Slash has worked with Universal Studios Hollywood’s haunted houses for six years, taking the terrors up a notch with carefully composed original music that complements each real-life scene much like a motion picture.
This year, he created an original soundtrack for the fan-favorite haunted house, “Scarecrow: Music by SLASH.” In this story, farmland scarecrows seek retribution against human homesteaders in the name of Mother Nature.
Halloween Horror Nights will also celebrate a vinyl-only album release of Slash’s best original haunted house music over the years. SLASH: Music of Universal Studios Hollywood – Halloween Horror Nights, Volume 2 will be available for purchase at Universal Studios Hollywood this year. Just make sure you buy it quickly, because Volume 1 sold out last year.
This year, Universal Studios Hollywood will also debut a new “Slash Bar” at Jurassic Cove. The menu includes a lineup of cocktails inspired by Slash’s music, as well as some of his favorite foods. Just look out for the ghoulish Slash scare-actor, complete with top hat and curls, who will be roaming around to scare guests.
“This year’s collaboration with Halloween Horror Nights and the chance to become one of the event’s marquee experiences is truly humbling, and I can’t wait for the guests to join me when they step into the terror,” said Slash.
What to expect at Halloween Horror Nights 2025
Halloween Horror Nights 2025 showcases a thrilling lineup of horror attractions based on famous movie franchises and original concepts. This year, guests can brave the new haunted house inspired by Terrifier, which is said to be one of the goriest and scariest ones yet, and an immersive attraction with iconic scenes from Poltergeist.
A few iconic Universal Studios attractions have undergone terrifying makeovers. “Terror Tram: Enter the Blumhouse” invites guests to disembark from the classic studio tram tour, encountering some of Blumhouse’s most famous villains, such as M3GAN and killers from The Purge. The WaterWorld venue will also bring back its popular “The Purge: Dangerous Waters” stunt show.
With a total of 8 haunted houses and 4 scare zones, Halloween Horror Nights offers a relentless and immersive Halloween experience. Are you brave enough to visit this year?
