Summer is almost here, meaning Californians are once again searching for the best ways to cool off.
One of the best options returning this season is Splash-n-Dash Aqua Park, known as the largest inflatable water park in North America. This floating obstacle course is set to reopen for the summer season, this Saturday, May 23 during Memorial Day weekend.
Splash-n-Dash Aqua Park, California’s floating mega playground
Splash-n-Dash Aqua Park sits inside the Lake McSwain Recreation Area in Snelling, roughly 55 miles from Yosemite National Park and about 4 hours from L.A.
The park spans around 200,000 square feet of floating inflatables, making it the largest inflatable water park in North America. It features a modular setup of dozens of connected obstacle elements, including slides, climbing structures, jump platforms, balance challenges, and racing lanes.
Across its layout, the park includes over 35 individual attractions, with seasonal expansions that can push the total even higher! The experience is divided into multiple zones, including the main “Big Splash” and “Colossal Splash” areas for older kids and adults, plus a separate “Lil’ Splash” section designed for younger children.
Beyond the inflatables, visitors can also access the broader Lake McSwain area for swimming, picnicking, and rentals like kayaks and paddleboards, turning the park into a full-day lakeside outing rather than just a water attraction.
