West Hollywood is getting a new bar just in time for Pride Month in Los Angeles!
Sweetwater, the newest bar to hit the Santa Monica strip, is having its grand opening this Friday, June 5, 2026. It’s a welcome addition the Rainbow District as it welcomes one of the largest Pride festivals in the country this weekend, alongside the Outloud Music Festival.
No details have been released about the interior, but it seems to be water-themed. “The new, queer-owned venue invites guests to raise a glass, explore the vibes, and ‘feel the current,” reads a press release.
The Outloud Music Festival, street festival, and Sunday’s Pride Parade will surely draw large crowds to the new venue. Read all about the festivities here.
