Nightime swim, anyone?
The Hollywood Roosevelt is hosting a moonlit swim every Friday! Dubbed Tropicana Fridays, the weekly event promises nighttime swims, cocktails, and curated DJ sets by In Sheep’s Clothing at the hotel’s iconic Tropicana Pool.
And best of all? It’s free!
What to know?
The event is 21+ and open to the public with no RSVP needed, and yes, the pool is heated! And you might even see a ghost.
Legend has it that the establishment is haunted.
Some people believe the Hollywood Roosevelt is haunted, and celebrity ghosts lurk in the halls of the hotel. A handful of guests have reported that Marilyn Monroe’s image has appeared in a mirror that used to be in her poolside suite.
Others have seen strange activity on the ninth floor of the hotel in suite 928, where late actor Montgomery Clift lived while filming From Here to Eternity, with some guests complaining about a trumpet being played in the middle of the night, despite the hotel insisting the room was vacant.
Maybe the ghosts want to lounge around the pool as well!
