And one of those cute Japanese cafes just opened a branch right here in Los Angeles. Takagi Coffee opened their first U.S. store in Southern California after opening branches in Singapore and Hong Kong.

The perfect pairing for pancakes is a steaming hot cup of joe. And Takagi Coffee sources specialty beans from around the world to create the perfect cup of coffee. Plus, all of the delicious teas are sourced from Okinawa and can be served hot or iced.
Savory Japanese Eats
While the soufflé pancakes are the big draw for Takagi Coffee, they also serve up delectable savory Japanese dishes. Some of the special Japanese recipes include omurice, chicken nanban, and katsu with rice and miso soup. Plus, they offer wafu pasta, a Japanese take on pasta which consists of a vegetable spaghetti with onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach shiso leaves, and arugula.
