Without a doubt, one of the most important figures of our time, both for the entertainment industry and for culture in general, Walt Disney was a true revolutionary in animation and culture. Creator of the world’s most influential media company and the father of theme parks, like many other celebrities, he left his mark on L.A., where he built his career.
One of the places tied to his legacy is Tam O’ Shanter, the legendary Scottish steakhouse and Los Angeles’ oldest restaurant operated by the same family in the same location. Many know it as the epicenter of St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, but it was also a restaurant Walt Disney frequented. So much so that he had his own designated table…
In celebration of Walt’s legacy, Tam O’ Shanter has launched a new initiative. The Table 31 Experience lets you reserve the very table where Walt Disney dined, featuring:
- A curated and exclusive menu with one of Walt’s favorite dishes (not available on the regular menu).
- A personalized history session, sharing captivating stories and lesser-known details about Walt’s time at the restaurant.
- A take-home souvenir to commemorate this one-of-a-kind experience.
Start with deviled eggs, pickled vegetables, or bacon-wrapped dates, followed by your choice of classic wedge salad or Tam’s famous 1927 chili. For the main course, enjoy Walt’s favorite: the 31 Burger with bacon, Scotch rarebit, onions, and chili fries and finish with C.C. Brown’s hot fudge sundae or English trifle.
